HighTech Europe is an initiative of European research organizations, industrial federations and enterprises with the final goal of setting up a European Institute for Food Processing.

Knowledge transfer chains

HighTech Europe facilitates the implementation of high-tech processing in the food industry by identifying, developing and demonstrating potential and cost-effiicient innovations via the Science Cube approach and availability of high-tech pilot facilities as well as by connecting the regional knowledge transfer.

An approach to link the innovative scientific knowledge in biotechnology, nanotechnology and ICT and the food industrial needs by categorizing into scientific principle and basic food processing operations.
